Discover Dogs 2000
Discover Dogs was held on 4th and 5th of November 2000 at Earls
Court in London. The Kennel Club initially decided, in conjunction with other
concerned dog loves, that is would be a great opportunity to raise public awareness
and actively oppose the legislation by supporting a stand at Discover Dogs called Dogs at
Risk in Europe
This photograph also shows Phil Buckley the Kennel Club Public
Relations Officer handing over a letter of protest which both 'Pauline' and 'Mo' signed.
Various delegates were then dispatched by a London black cab to the German Embassy
in Belgravia in London which was another new experience for Tammy, she was even supplied
with a umbrella from the Kennel Club, The signed protest letter was then handed over.
Tammy was also squeezed into the already busy schedule in the
rings to give an Agility display which amazed quite a few people at the speed Staffords
can achieve as well as her obvious love and passion for the sport.
The weekend was great fun and although a little tired towards the end Tammy was cuddled,
stroked, kissed and petted by literally 1000's of people, but more importantly the message
was got across to members of the public exactly what is happening in Germany.
