awareness regarding the plight of dogs currently being persecuted around the world by

Downing
Street Visit
Theresa
Villiers (MEP) organised a trip to 10 Downing Street for dog owners and MEPs' to hand in a
protest letter to Tony Blair asking him not to support moves introduced by a number of EU
countries to introduce legislation regarding specific breeds of dogs.
A very busy London street full of grey suited commuters, with long faces was soon
transformed to smiling faces with people stopping for cuddles, pats & licks.
After Downing street, all the dogs went to the Houses of Parliament which involved a
journey over several roads, all dogs behaved impeccably not putting a paw out of place.
There were various breeds represented including 3 Staffordshire Bull Terriers, 2 Bull
Terriers, 1 Bullmastiff, 1 Mastiff, 1 Anotolian, 1 Rottie as well as 1 Border Terrier who
was along for the ride and to help support his Stafford friend.
